Element

Cold

Cold immersion systems built for deliberate exposure, recovery and contrast.

Cold immersion is deliberate exposure. The equipment exists to make that exposure repeatable, clean and controlled.

A modern cold plunge is a chiller, a filtration and sanitation loop, and an insulated vessel. The chiller determines how cold the water holds and how quickly it recovers between uses.

Self-contained units suit most residential spaces. Remote or split systems place the mechanical equipment away from the vessel, which matters for indoor noise and commercial duty cycles.

Rime Forge is currently establishing supplier relationships across residential plunges, commercial-duty chillers and integrated filtration systems.

Planning

What to consider.

Chiller capacity

Rated pull-down temperature and recovery rate matter far more than a headline minimum, especially in warm climates or with multiple daily users.

Filtration & sanitation

Ozone, UV and micron filtration reduce water changes. Commercial settings carry additional health and inspection requirements.

Placement

Consider floor loading when full, drainage access, ambient heat rejected by the chiller, and operating noise.

Materials

Stainless steel, composite and wood-clad vessels differ in insulation performance, maintenance and appearance.

Where it fits

Typical applications.

  • Home gyms and garages
  • Outdoor decks and patios
  • Athletic and physical therapy facilities
  • Recovery studios and wellness clubs
